Join us for piano and integrated art lessons!
At Tulip Music Art, our goal is to make all of our students music lovers who will enjoy music for the rest of their lives. We aim to use multi-sensory learning (MSL) with our students to help them learn in a fun and memorable way. We are also currently helping our teenage students grow into junior teachers, and we look forward to helping our other students who show an interest in teaching or becoming a junior teacher.
Our teachers work one-on-one with students and personalize the lessons to adjust to their needs and goals. We strive to bring the best out of our students, help them overcome their weaknesses, and improve their strengths.
Smart 8 is an integrated art book that we use for all ages. We teachers at Tulip Music Art consider this book an essential before we start piano. We offer both online and in person classes in group and one-on-one settings.
Piano Academia is our favourite go-to book when we work with beginners to intermediate learners. It uses multi-sensory learning (MSL) to teach important technical motions that are used in piano. It is an incredibly important book that we at Tulip Music Art use as a stepping stone to RCM piano.
Music theory is a key component of learning music no matter what instrument you learn. We teach RCM theory in online one-on-one or group settings and in-person one-on-one settings.
This video is of Sophia's performance that won her second place in her division for the 2025 Charleston International Music Competition. We teachers encourage our students to challenge themselves by introducing them to piano competitions and build their portfolios from a young age.
At Tulip Music Art, we take photos of each and every one of our students' achievements and growths throughout our time together. This helps us build an unforgettable photo album for students and their families that they can look back to in the future.
Tulip Music Art strives to hold annual recitals for our students. At these recitals, students get a chance to show off a piece that they have learned in front of family and more.
